Challenges


The photovoltaic inverter production and assembly workshop has three process links: assembly, aging, and inspection and packaging. The workshop has a total of 5 assembly lines, 12 aging rooms, and 3 inspection lines. The aging and inspection capacity is only half of the assembly capacity, so there are many product backlogs on the assembly lines in the workshop. The introduction of AMR requires the solution of material distribution of the workshop assembly line. The assembled finished products are sent to the aging area for aging or to the waiting aging area, and the aged finished products are sent to the inspection line or the inspection buffer area. Before the introduction of AMR, the material distribution of the production line was all done manually. In order to ensure that the production line is not affected by the distribution, all the materials used for half a day or even a day will be stacked on the production line at one time. The chaotic stacking of materials on the production line makes management difficult, and the AMR production line logistics solution is urgently needed to improve production and management efficiency. At the same time, the finished products are stacked in the form of pallets, and the stacking position needs to be manually found, which is extremely inefficient.


Solution


Standard Robots uses the standard AMR model Oasis300UL-SRL-LR-600-01, with a traction delivery vehicle. The FMS and central control system integrate the factory's MES and WMS systems. After the materials are prepared manually in the warehouse, they are automatically delivered to the production line by the AMR.


Aging room materials: According to the PDA material call, the AMR automatically takes the materials from the aging area or assembly unloading area and sends them to the aging room;


Inspection line materials: According to the inspection line material call, the AMR automatically takes the materials from the aging room or the inspection area and sends them to the inspection line thread head;
