Recently, the official competition of ICRA 2026 – the 2nd Worldwide Bimanual Robot Challenge (WBCD 2026) has concluded. A joint team formed by Standard Robots and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), HKUST(GZ) Di2Robotics Team, claimed the world championship in the Logistics Sorting track and topped the global overall leaderboard.

As a globally renowned flagship conference for robotics, ICRA hosts the WBCD competition. Adopting physical robots, practical tasks and objective evaluation metrics, WBCD aims to assess robotic performance including motion control, system responsiveness and sustained operation under complex mission scenarios.
Wang Yongkun, Founder and CEO of Standard Robots, and Li Hongxiang, CTO of Standard Robots, represented the company and took deep part in the joint solution development and engineering optimization. The team carried out continuous iterations covering communication, status monitoring, end-effector implementation and vision deployment to improve system stability and task completion efficiency.
Moving forward, Standard Robots will further deepen industry-university-research collaboration and advance embodied intelligence technologies toward real industrial applications.
